Francisco
García Beneyto, born in Villena in 1953, took his first
steps into the art world while at school in the field of
watercolours and general drawing.
At the age of seventeen he began working as a graphic designer for a footwear company without neglecting his artistic side, to which he devoted himself completely upon finishing his military service.
A self-taught artist influenced by the Valencian school, the painter has acquired a profound expertise in the various techniques which he employs: pastel, oil and acrylic painting, reflecting in his work the luminosity and spontaneity associated with the Mediterranean character. |
His unique, unmistakable style is characterised by nuances full of sincerity, which, respecting the colours of nature, strive to accurately blend the component textures of the subject matter they represent in a fresh, harmonious way.
